WordsPaintery - DT projects

Totally forgot to show these in the blog.

 

They are my two latest DT projects for the Words&Paintery blog. The card was actually for last month when WP celebrated its first birthday! Yay!
There is also a process video for it.

Let*s party! Prima style :)

In my family there is a lot of birthdays in the fall. Adding to that, Words&Painterys birthday is this month as well! A birthday card for W&P is coming up in a couple of weeks along with a process video :)

This card I made for my father. It is made on black and white (colored with copper embossing powder) cardstock and then a Prima paper. The flowers are also from Prima and the beads micro beads are Prima finnabair. Everything is covered with Prima finnabair mica powder, copper, and al the blues are Prima color bloom spray, precious stone. The whole card just shimmers and shines! :)
There is also copper embossing powder on the chipboards and the leaves.

Here is Primas PPP this month. Loved the masculine and elegant feel of it.

ATC cards

I'm hooked!

ATC cards are such a wonderful format to work with. Its fast and its fun. I it also quite challenging.
I think I have to "blame" my scrapper friend Marie (www.gulavillanivallen.blogspot.se) for getting me trapped in the ATC swamp. She was my first swap and I got an amazing card from her.

I made some green cards in return and I used the color and word palette from Words&Paintery this month.

I started of by applying light weight gesso trough this stencil. The stencil is custom made and a gift from a dear friend.

Now, when I was making these a thought it would take about an hour to finish them. Universe thought differently and decided to brake my heat gun. Needless to say, each step took FOREVER. I painted and played with the cards for about five minutes and the sat around and coursed and waited for it to dry.

After the gesso dried (well almost dried, I got a little inpatient) I mixed some micro beads from PRIMA with opaque gel medium and applied it a little sloppy on the cards. I was going for two cards that where mirroring each other.

And the some more coursing and waiting...

Then for my decorations. I used some metallic flowers from YouDo and wood veneers from wycinanka. Here I used some fast drying glue. Ha, screw you universe!

Then I covered the whole thing with gesso. It took two layers to get a good coverage. 

I used watercolor to color the cards. Two different greens and some yellow. Then I thanked the gods that this was the last time I had to sit and wait for them to dry before I could finish them.

 So again, here are the finished cards. I used a PRIMA flower, some glitter from YouDo, black splashes and .stamped the words on a cardstock strip.

En hel massa nytt! / A hole lot of new stuff!

Nu efter julstöket och helgmyset tycker jag det är dags att ta tag i bloggen igen. Det har hänt så mycket sen sist jag publicerade i bloggen. För det första:

Jag känner mig otroligt glad och tacksam över att få bli en del av deras designteam. Jag har bloggat där en vecka i december nu och här är de alster jag har visat upp där än så länge.

Now after Christmas and the holidays, I think it's time to start blogging again. It has happened so much since last time I published in the blog. Firstly:

YouDo!
I feel incredibly happy and grateful to be a part of their design team. I have blogged there a week in December now and here are the creations I have made for them so far.

 

Den här layouten är skapad med youdos produkter men inspirerad utifrån Words&Painterys färger och frasen "shimmer and shine"

This layout is created with youdo's products but inspired on the basis of Words & Painterys colors and phrase "Shimmer and Shine"

Det var defenitivt en utmaning efftersom det är inte färger jag normalt skapar med men jag blev nöjd. Lyckades tillochmed hålla mig från att skvätta svart över hela :)

Jag gjorde faktiskt en layout till deras förra utmaning också men pga sjukdom hann jag inte få den färdigt och än mindre delta med den. 

It was definitely a challenge because there are not colors I normally create with but I am satisfied with the result. I even managed to keep my self from splashing black all over :)

I actually made a layout of their last challenge as weell but due to illness I could not get it finished, let alone participate in the challenge.

Frasen är ju "with you it's different" och jag tänkte på snön :) När första snön kommer ja, då blir allting verkligen annorlunda.

The phrase is  "with you it's different" and I thought of the snow :) When the first snow falls then everything becomes really different.

Till sist vill jag visa upp de här örhängena jag gjorde till AlltOmScraps månadsutmaning i november "gnistra glittra och glimma". Det är utstansade snöflingor som fått ett lager 3D crystal glace och en hel massa glitter på sig.

Finally, I want to show you these earrings I made for AlltOmScraps month challenge in November, "sparkle glitter and gleam." They are punched snowflakes with a layer of 3D crystal glace and a whole lot of glitter on them.

Annorlunda julkort

Nu har jag gjort ett kort igen. Har blivit mycket sådana på sistone :)
Det här är ett julkort (börjar tidigt i år ;) ) med lite annorlunda färger. Blev inspirerad av två utmaningar. På YouDo heter utmaningen "crazy christmas" och då skulle man skapa med icke traditionella julfärger och det måste väl ändå det här vara. Det här papperet från Best Creations inc ancände jag

På Allt om Scrap designutmaning skulle man göra en julgran och då slog jag ihop de tv å utmaningarna och kom fram till det här kortet. Himla läckert blev det. Precis ett sånt kort jag skulle vilja få själv :D

DT inlägget

Kort

Eftersom jag egentligen inte brukar göra kort var det här en verklig utmaning. Det är till YouDo's utmaning som heter "Less vs More". Ett av korten skulle vara väldigt enkelt och det andra skulle vara betydligt mer dekorerat. Tyckte inte att de här var väldigt lätta att fota. Eftersom det var så vitt så syns detaljerna lite dåligt. Det är enbossade kanter på den vita cardstocken på båda korten.
Blev faktiskt mycket nöjd över dessa :)

3 matchande kort

Uterligare ett bidrag till scrapptorgets CC. Den här gången var tanken att man med hjälp av 1 cardstock skulle skapa tre matchande kort. Jag ville gärna testa använda guld klistermärkena jag hade liggandes och jag tycker resultatet blev rätt bra. Elegant och enkelt.
