My little nephew

My beautiful little nephew turned one last week and I really wanted to make something about him. This photo of me and him is taken on his christening and I just love it :)

I made this layout out of Berry71Bleu's mood board this month. Is it not just stunning!

At first I had green leafs on the layout but then I painted one of them black and I just loved it. It looked so sober with the black, white and grey together with all the purple and violet.

I have used silver micro beads and purple metallic paint as accents together with white, grey and violet enamel dots.

Fairytale

This is my DT layout Berry71Bleu this month.
We have a beautiful moodboard and would love lots and lots of entries to it :)

Can you recognize the house in the photo? It's Pippi Longstockings house! It is such a wonderful house full of marvels. I just loved standing there and looking at it :) It brings back so many childhood memories.

It is made with Prima flowers, BlueFern chipboards and paper from Maja Design. I used silver as a compliment color. Silver mini beads, silver chain and some silver metallic color on the title.

Long time no see!

I have been crazy busy during April and haven't had the time to scrap at all! Bur now I am back. :)

A few weeks ago I got a packige full of amazing new scrap stuff I orderd from the Netherlands. Almost only Prima stuff :D Flowers, paints, colorblooms, mechanicals, crystals etc. This layout is created with a few of those things. Besides from the chipboards and the white cardstock I think all of it is prima :)

It is made inspired by our gorgeous mood board over at Berry71Bleu this month. And I also took on MoreThanWord's challenge witch was the word moment and creative accent clocks. I used a photo with a everyday moment. It is my two sons on the photo overlooking a lake and just contemplate life :)

And here is my result. Lots of metallic shine :)

The clock and the butterflie are both painted with Finnabair Art Alchemy Acrylic Copper Paint.

I chose to have a really small title on this layout because I did not want the title to be the focal point.

Beauty

We have a gorgeous mood board over at Berry71Bleu this month :D It is lots of gold and glamour and this layout is my take on it.

It's my sister on the photo and she definitely looks like a beauty (well except when she annoy the crap out of me :P)

I painted a grey prima flower red and used a lot of gold stickles both on the flowers and the background. The stenciling is made with finnabair black gesso and gold acrylic and on the background I used black ink with gold litter. Even the lettering got gold embossing on it.

So lots of gold here :)

Happy 2016!

This is my first layout of the year. I have been so busy doing nothing this past week :D Started working again yesterday witch means school and day care is also back live. Witch in turns means I am back at the scrap table. When the kids are home we spend so much time together playing and crafting so there isn't much time to scrap.

But, now I am back and it feels good to take some me time again :)

This is berry71bleu mood board for Januari

I made a layout on a black piece of canvas from CanvasCorp. It was a bit challenging but it turned out great. You kind of get a lot of structural goodness for free.

I made a layout about me. Most of all it is the picture that represent me. I spend most of my time behind the camera. On this photo I couldn't get the focus right so I used my face as a referents point. It wasn't suppose to be a selfie photo that i would keep but >I thought it represented me so well :) If there is a selfie of me you can count on it being accidental. I just don't feel comfortable in front of the camera.

AS you can see there is also ALOT of copper in this pic and that has to be my favorite color :) I use it all over our home. It works so well with all other colors.

I am entering this layout in this new challenge blog, MoreThanWords. I am so glad they desided to start this blog when ScrapAroundTheWorld closed. SATW has always been such a huge inspirational source and I was really sad to here that they where closing down :(
