Projects with 2crafty + a video!

It is lots of frost outside my window and here I am with a summer layout :)

This is a layout I created as a dt project for 2crafty. The puzzle pieces, the title, the rings and heart and 2016 are all chipboard from 2crafty. For this layout I used acrylic paint to color them. They take color incredible well, no gessoing first needed.
This is such a playful photo so I wanted to match that in the layout and try to use the same colors as the photo,
White splashes, gesso and string for the background and lots of color for the forground :)

Next for my dt post I made these mixed media tags. I used finnabairs metallic paint on these and the result was amazing! I really LOVE the metallic shine on the them. I choose to paint all the chipboards white to create a beautiful contrast and really make the chippies pop.
For these tags I also made a video with you can find at the end of this post.

I think I will let the detail pic speak for them self. The shine and structure are divine :)

Fairytale

This is my DT layout Berry71Bleu this month.
We have a beautiful moodboard and would love lots and lots of entries to it :)

Can you recognize the house in the photo? It's Pippi Longstockings house! It is such a wonderful house full of marvels. I just loved standing there and looking at it :) It brings back so many childhood memories.

It is made with Prima flowers, BlueFern chipboards and paper from Maja Design. I used silver as a compliment color. Silver mini beads, silver chain and some silver metallic color on the title.

Long time no see!

I have been crazy busy during April and haven't had the time to scrap at all! Bur now I am back. :)

A few weeks ago I got a packige full of amazing new scrap stuff I orderd from the Netherlands. Almost only Prima stuff :D Flowers, paints, colorblooms, mechanicals, crystals etc. This layout is created with a few of those things. Besides from the chipboards and the white cardstock I think all of it is prima :)

It is made inspired by our gorgeous mood board over at Berry71Bleu this month. And I also took on MoreThanWord's challenge witch was the word moment and creative accent clocks. I used a photo with a everyday moment. It is my two sons on the photo overlooking a lake and just contemplate life :)

And here is my result. Lots of metallic shine :)

The clock and the butterflie are both painted with Finnabair Art Alchemy Acrylic Copper Paint.

I chose to have a really small title on this layout because I did not want the title to be the focal point.

Wonderful day

It's the 15th and that means a new challenge is up on Words & Painterys blog!
This time we are being inspired by these colors and words:

I didn't use much color on my layout but I went crazy with the glitter! :D I even took some glitter spray and sprayed the whole thing in the end. 

I was also inspired by MoreThanWords challenge this month.

Not only is it a wonderful picture I have scrapped but it was a wonderful day. It's my sister and her two boys on their wedding day. The most wonderful thing though has to be the way my little nephew is rocking the pacifier with the converse and the tail-coat! :D

Jump! Canvas Corp layout

This is my latest layout for Words and Paintery. This month we are luckily to be sponsored by CanvasCorp. 

The layout is made on a sheet of canvas just like the layout in the previous post. Both sheets are from canvas corp and they where so much fun to work on. I think i liked the lack one more becus it had more structure. On this white one though the mists and glimmer glaze also from canvas corp turned out amazing. It created a sort of dreamy soft feel.
However, my favorite thing I got from canvas corp is the stamp you can se in the top left corner that says me. So cool! IT is part of a sta<mp set and the word dream, the dots and the stars are al part of the same pack.

Accidental selfie

Hi!!

Happy 2016!

This is my first layout of the year. I have been so busy doing nothing this past week :D Started working again yesterday witch means school and day care is also back live. Witch in turns means I am back at the scrap table. When the kids are home we spend so much time together playing and crafting so there isn't much time to scrap.

But, now I am back and it feels good to take some me time again :)

This is berry71bleu mood board for Januari

I made a layout on a black piece of canvas from CanvasCorp. It was a bit challenging but it turned out great. You kind of get a lot of structural goodness for free.

I made a layout about me. Most of all it is the picture that represent me. I spend most of my time behind the camera. On this photo I couldn't get the focus right so I used my face as a referents point. It wasn't suppose to be a selfie photo that i would keep but >I thought it represented me so well :) If there is a selfie of me you can count on it being accidental. I just don't feel comfortable in front of the camera.

AS you can see there is also ALOT of copper in this pic and that has to be my favorite color :) I use it all over our home. It works so well with all other colors.

I am entering this layout in this new challenge blog, MoreThanWords. I am so glad they desided to start this blog when ScrapAroundTheWorld closed. SATW has always been such a huge inspirational source and I was really sad to here that they where closing down :(

Winter Morning

Winter Mornings are so cold and crisp. The whole world feels calm and quiet.

I made this layout out of Scraphusets sketch this month, only I flipped it 90 degrees.  I wanted a really snowy and cold feel in it. The products I used are mostly from Prima and 13@rts. They go so well together. The chipboards are once again Scrapiniec :) Just love them.
